The four stages
Services
Every way of working together is a stage in the same slow garden.
Stage I · The Seed
Individual Counselling
for the unspoken
One to one, at your pace. A quiet room where the things you have carried alone can finally be set down and looked at, gently, together.
Sessions are fifty minutes, weekly or fortnightly, in my room in Portstewart. We begin wherever you are — with a feeling you can't name, a loss you haven't spoken of, or simply a sense that something needs to change. I work integratively, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic and compassion-focused approaches, so the work shapes itself around you rather than the other way round.

Stage II · The Bloom
Online Therapy
for those who can't be in the room
The same care, the same attention, from wherever you are — across Northern Ireland, the UK, or the world. Secure video, at times that fit your life.
For many people, home is where they feel safest to speak. Online sessions run over a secure, encrypted platform and are every bit as deep as working in person. Clients join me from kitchen tables, parked cars and spare rooms; from Belfast, London, Sydney and Toronto. All you need is a quiet corner and a little privacy.

Stage III · The Grove
Walk & Talk Therapy
for those who need to move
Side by side along the Portstewart strand and coastal path. Some words come more easily when we are walking, not facing one another.
Walk & Talk sessions take place outdoors along the North Coast — the strand, the cliff path, the woodland at Flowerfield. Movement softens the edges of difficult conversations, and the sea has a way of making room. We agree a route and a plan for privacy beforehand, and we walk at whatever pace feels right. Rain is welcome; the North Coast insists on it.

Stage IV · The Harvest
Couples & Relationship Counselling
for those who share the garden
For partners who have stopped hearing each other. A neutral, warm space to untangle old patterns and remember what you were growing together.
Relationship counselling is not about deciding who is right. It is about understanding the cycle you are both caught in, and finding new ways to reach each other. Sessions are seventy-five minutes, in person or online. I work with couples of every shape — married, unmarried, separating, rebuilding — and with families navigating change.

Questions, gently answered
Before you begin.
If something feels heavy, confusing or stuck, that is reason enough. You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis. Our first conversation is simply a chance to see whether working together feels right.

Wherever you begin
The kettle is on. The chair is waiting. There is no wrong way in.
If something feels heavy, that's enough of a reason to reach out.
